Welcome to Pigmy Lodge
Pigmy Lodge, the long-held dream of owner Elmon Maré, is part of an active Boer goat farming operation and is run as a family business with his wife Albie and youngest son André. Since the first overnight units were built in September 2008, the lodge has welcomed guests to cozy chalets and rooms, as well as a function hall that hosts wedding receptions, conferences, birthday celebrations, and training events. Surrounded by lush gardens, vibrant birdlife, and breathtaking sunsets, Pigmy Lodge offers a unique blend of rural charm, modern comfort, and memorable experiences.

Guests can choose between an inviting chalets or comfortable room, each featuring a private en-suite bathroom with a shower. The chalets offer flexible sleeping arrangements with either double or single beds, while the rooms are comfortably furnished with double beds. Crisp linen is provided to ensure a relaxing and convenient stay. Each air-conditioned unit is thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities, including a bar fridge, microwave, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a TV for added comfort. Daily servicing keeps the spaces fresh and welcoming, and a delicious breakfast is available on request at an additional cost.
